This candle was curated by Mik Brewer who is the founder of The Lamplight Event & Initiative. Lamplight is a celebration and exploration of the mental health of mental health care providers, following a series of interviews & an essay by Mik Brewer after her therapist died by suicide in 2020.

Alongside professionals providing care across the landscape of mental health, the purpose of the event was to gain an understanding of needed resources and conversations. The purpose of Lamplight is to break the stigma that mental health care providers can’t struggle with what they’re supposed to be “experts” in.
